Pale red with tinge of orange, consistently fired. Fine, hard, smooth break. Very few visible inclusions: very rare, tiny to small, light and dark particles. Surface finely smoothed.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves ca. 30-35% of lower neck and upper shoulder. Slight, sparse to moderate abrasion and minor pitting and chipping; worn breaks; extensive film of white discoloration (calcareous) and scattered patches of encrustation.
