Description
Conical loom weight tapering at inflection near bottom. Slightly concave base. Shallow stamp on lower face, impressed from gemstone but lightly so that details are indistinct: oval around relief (probably) of draped Aphrodite kneeling right.
Preservation comment
One large fragment preserves lower 50% of object. Slight, extensive abrasion with frequent scratching; deep cracks radiating out from gouges concentrating at bottom; worn breaks.
