Description
Conical loom weight tapering at inflection near bottom. Distinctly pointed top and somewhat sharp edges. Flat to slightly concave bottom. Small hole pierces wall near top. Shallow stamp on lower face, impressed from gemstone but lightly so that details are indistinct: oval around relief (probably) of draped Aphrodite kneeling right.
Preservation comment
Intact. Slight, sparse abrasion with slight, extensive abrasion; rare gouging; one large crack in side; and small chips on bottom.
