Late Antique regional(?) “red“ fabric: fired slightly darker at surface; very hard, somewhat coarse; gritty texture with granular break; uncommon, somewhat poorly sorted, mixed, small, white (calcareous) and red to brown particles, and small, angular, gray chunks.
Preservation description
One large sherd preserves entire top above seam but missing front right shoulder and nozzle. Slight, moderate abrasion and pitting; somewhat worn breaks; thin, extensive film of encrustation.
