- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Late Roman Corinthian “red“ fabric (very hard; slightly darker at surface). Thick webbing and sharp, distinct joining ridge; misalignment of handle at seam. Fingerprints on sides of handle.
- Preservation comment
- One large sherd preserves entire top above seam but missing front right shoulder and nozzle. Slight, moderate abrasion and pitting; somewhat worn breaks; thin, extensive film of encrustation.
