Fabric, firing, and surface description
Late Roman Athenian lamp fabric (pale red; hard; small, subangular white and black inclusions), firing, and surface (smoothed). Clean seam with slight misalignment at handle.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves ca. 55% of lamp but missing nozzle and middle to front part of base. Slight to moderate, extensive abrasion and sparse pitting and scratching; worn breaks; extensive, thin film of encrustation.
