Fabric, firing, and surface description
Typical Middle-Late Roman Athenian fabric (brownish red; hard, slightly granular break; rare, small, subangular, white and rare black inclusions), firing (consistent), and fabric (brownish red slip; thin, uneven, semimatte).
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves ca. 40% from top front part of lamp, including over one-half of discus and small part of shoulder up to airhole. Very slight, sparse abrasion and chipping around edges; mostly clean breaks.
