Fabric, firing, and surface description
Late Roman Corinthian “red“ lamp fabric (brick red, heavy, gritty), firing (hard), and surface (somewhat smooth). Slight webbing and narrow, sharp joining ridge; slight left misalignment at handle seam.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves ca. 65% of lamp but missing most of discus and right shoulder and wall. Slight, extensive abrasion and rare pitting; worn breaks; scattered patches of thin encrustation.
