Fabric, firing, and surface description
Typical Late Roman Attic fabric (slightly reddish yellow), firing (hard), surface (smoothed but no slip or wash). Seem slightly misaligned at back of handle.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves 40% from upper middle to back and left part of the lamp, including over one-half of discus, over two-thirds of shoulder, and upper handle. Moderate, extensive abrasion; somewhat worn breaks; few specks of encrustation.
