Late Roman Corinthian “white“ fabric (slightly reddish buff; somewhat fine), firing (hard), and surface (smoothing along shoulder and walls). Wide wedding and joining ridge but rounded by hand; clean alignment at seam.
Preservation comment
Two joining sherds preserve complete lamp but missing front of nozzle. Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion and slight chipping around edges; slightly worn breaks; streaks of gray to black discoloration on upper right wall and underwide of nozzle (secondary scorching?).
