Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: Pale reddish yellow or buff; slightly gritty texture, smoth to slightly granular break; fine, somewhat soft, very few, small, subrounded white (calcareous) inclusions and very rare, small voids. Slip, inside and outside lamp: orangish brown to orangish red; mottled; thin, slightly uneven, semimatte; flakey.Thin
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves ca. 40% of top front part of lamp with entire nozzle. Extensive, moderate abrasion and scratching with severe chipping around wickhole; worn breaks; faint gray cloud (calcareous?).
