Tear-shaped(?) outline. Tear-shaped(?), concave discus with raised rim around uncertain figural relief (probably not Poseidon with trident, as Williams; late version of dolphin type?). Flat shoulder with framed herringbone in relief. Thick, pierced handle with three grooves.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 28% of upper back part of lamp, including small part of discus, left and back shoulder, and upper handle. Moderate, extensive abrasion and slight pitting and chipping around edges; worn breaks; thin, faint film of encrustation.
