Fabric, firing, and surface description
Core: brick red; interior surface (5-6mm) dark grayish brown; exterior surface (1m mm) brown. Slightly coarse, hard; hackly break; rough and sandy surface. Numerous very small, rounded, sand inclusions (quartzitic; pale bits); one angular chunk of charcoal; rare, subangular, medium chunks of lime opening at surface.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves ca. 35% of rim and neck with one upper handle attachment. Slight, sparse abrasion; somewhat worn breaks; patches of gray encrustation in grooves.
