Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: pinkish buff; mostly smooth break; fine to very fine texture with very rare, small, well sorted, white, black and red or brown particles. Consistently fired. Slip: very thin, even, pale to creamy wash on exterior; thick, even, glossy black slip on interior.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 20% of back to side left shoulder and adjacent wall, with back of lug. Slight, extensive abrasion and rare pitting; worn breaks; sparse, thin, patchy cloud of white discoloration (calcareous?).
