Typical buff fabric, firing, and surface treatment: slight tinge of orange at core, more pale pinkish at surface; somewhat crumbly or powdery fracture.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 20% of back of lamp, including small part of shoulder, entire handle, part of back wall, and less than one-quarter of base. Slight, sparse abrasion, chipping, and gouging; mostly clean breaks.
