Description
Type of leaning bacchant with thyrsus and tympanon.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
So far as can be discerned through weathering, typical fabric (pinkish brown; varied tiny bits, faintly micaceous), firing(?), and surface treatment (pale brown but mottled slip; thin but even, semilustrous?).
Preservation comment
Intact but small holes on discus and base. Moderate to severe, extensive erosion and abrasion; worn breaks; scattered specks of encrustation. Weathering consistent with long marine submersion.
