Fabric, firing, and surface description
Typical fabric (reddish brown core to reddish orange surface (1-2 mm); gritty texture, slightly granular break; small, well sorted inclusions; rare, small, rounded voids at surface), firing, and surface treatment (unslipped; smoothed). Cleanly smoothed seam.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves most of lamp but missing middle to back base and walls. Moderate to severe, extensive erosion and abrasion(?), surface flaking to delaminating; worn breaks; extensive film of encrustation.
