Late Roman Corinthian or Regional Lamp, copy/imitation Athenian
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric heavy, somewhat gritty; pinkish but slightly buff and somewhat soft surface; varied small bits; rare, small to medium, subrounded lime inclusions), firing, and surface treatment. Late Roman Argolid fabric. Cast from very worn mold. Slight ridging and webbing at seam.
Preservation comment
Intact. Slight, extensive abrasion, pitting, and chipping; extensive, thin film of white discoloration (calcareous?).
