Red with a tinge of brown. Somewhat hard, consistently fired; smooth break. Uncommon to common, tiny to small, well sorted, subrounded to subangular bits: mostly dark (red to brown, dark gray or black?), and some white (both tabular and rarely platy, some dissolving lime). Traces of slip on interior neck? Attic.
Preservation description
Intact but missing rim. Slight, sparse abrasion and slight to moderate erosion with flaking; worn breaks; wide patches of pale, cloudy encrustatoin(?) and brown discoloration. Weathering consistent with long marine submersion.
