Conservation
1960s: joined with shellac and two large areas infilled with white plaster.
Description
Bowl with high curved walls and nearly flat base. Thin walls rise to sharply rounded lip. Floor is slightly concave on underside. Tightly spaced concentric circle on floor.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric discolored orange from marine exposure; original slip color is not recoverable except by reference to type.
Preservation comment
Four joining sherds preserve 40% of rim in two separate parts, full profile, and nearly all of base. Extensive, severe erosion and abrasion so that almost entire surface is missing, though patches suvive on interior; fabric is softened and discolored. Weathering from long marine submersion.
