- Conservation
- 1960s: joined with shellac and two large areas infilled with white plaster.
- Description
- Bowl with high curved walls and nearly flat base. Thin walls rise to sharply rounded lip. Floor is slightly concave on underside. Tightly spaced concentric circle on floor.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Fabric discolored orange from marine exposure; original slip color is not recoverable except by reference to type.
- Preservation comment
- Four joining sherds preserve 40% of rim in two separate parts, full profile, and nearly all of base. Extensive, severe erosion and abrasion so that almost entire surface is missing, though patches suvive on interior; fabric is softened and discolored. Weathering from long marine submersion.
