Description
Lagynos. Thickened, everted rim; long tapering neck, and strap handle; rounded body. Handle rises from well below rim before descending to body; two shallow grooves on handle form low central ridge.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Very slightly granular fabric fired to consistent light pink; some tiny light inclusions, occasionally angular, other tiny bits. Surface pale, very thin slip.
Preservation comment
Five joining sherds preserve 80% of rim, all of neck, handle, and adjacent part of upper wall. Sparse, moderate abrasion and chipping, including one large piece from rim; slightly worn breaks; small patches of dark encrustation.
