Description
Flat bottom unguentarium or narrow jug. Moulded base with slight central dimple. Thin walls, very slightly bulging above base. Slight shallow ridging on exterior lower wall.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Perhaps Corinthian ER/MR fabric, though very discolored. Fine, now greenish, fabric, dark gray in places. No visible inclusions. Surface pale, though flaking.
Preservation comment
Seven joining sherds preserve base and lower wall. Surface softened and flaking from likely marine exposure.
