- 1960s: mended with shellac.
- Description
- Small bowl with rounded walls and thin rounded upper lip; ring base. Deep groove separates base from wall on exterior. Base has bulging exterior profile, flat bottom, sloped and slightly concave on interior face.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Very fine, pale fabric. Thin, dark, semiglossy red slip mostly worn but well preserved in patches on exterior.
- Preservation comment
- Two joining sherds preserve complete vessel. Extensive, severe abrasion removing most of flip; scattered pitting, gouging and chipping; scattered patches of encrustation.
