Conservation
1960s: mended with shellac and ca. 30% reconstructed with white plaster tinted pinkish brown.
Description
Small cup with flaring walls and high slight flaring rim; ring foot. Concave rim offset from interior and exterior. Low foot offset from exterior by irregular groove that does not go completely around vessel; concentric offset on lower face of base. Interior floor makes smooth transition to wall. Smoothing bands on exterior wall.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Very fine, slightly pinkish fabric. Slip thickly preserved in places, particularly on exterior, worn on interior.
Preservation comment
Two joining sherds preserve ca. 60% of vessel: full profile. Sparse abrasion, chipping, and gouging especially around edges.
