1960s: rejoined with shellac and infilled large patches in body with white plaster painted gray.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Material obscured by weathering: very fine, hard; smooth(?) break; very rare, isolated, small, angular, white and black inclusions; secondary scorching near top.
Preservation comment
Six joining sherds preserve entire base and roughly 30% of lower to middle wall. Soft and powdery surface and slight, extensive pitting consistent with marine submersion over a long period; worn breaks.
