1960s: sherds mended with shellac and infilled with fine white plaster painted gray.
Description
Amphora with short tapering neck, thickened rounded rim, small oval-section handles, and ridging on extant body. Wide groove on neck below rim. Handles extend from neck to body. Very thin walls.
Preservation comment
Eleven joining sherds preserve entire rim, most of neck, one entire handle and part of a second, and most of shoulder with adjacent upper wall. Slight, extensive abrasion and minor chipping around edges; worn breaks.
