Small cup. Everted triangular short rim and (probably) one handle. Rim is undercut by concave band that forms a carination above widest point of wall; wall then narrows with recurved profile to slightly irregular flat base. Handle is attached right below rim and bends sharply back to mid-point of wall below widest point. Handle has oval profile and is not cut; smoothed at lower attachment.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Hard, slightly granular fabric fired to predominant very dark reddish gray; redder core at thickest part of wall. Frequent small to tiny angular and varied inclusions. Thinly slipped surface is lighter gray with some redder areas.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 45% of vessel including small part of rim, full profile, roughly one half of base, and entire handle. Extensive, slight abrasion with sparse pitting and chipping; worn breaks; slight encrustation, mostly in a single small patch.
