Small flask or amphoriskos. Narrow ovoid body. Small flaring base, slightly concave underneath, with a small amount of excess clay near center as remnant of tooling. Exterior surface preserves spiral ridging at extant mid-point of body; surfaces is plain below, with smoothing bands and light turning marks. Interior has spiral turning groove down to base.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fine, soft fabric with very rare angular dark inclusions, occasionally visible on surface. Surface pale, thinly slipped.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves entire base (but chipped) and lower wall to near widest point of body. Sparse, slight abrasion and minor pitting scratching; worn breaks.
