Description
Dish with high rim, concave outer face and undercut flange. Low ring foot.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Slightly granular fabric with occasional small calcareous inclusions, consistently fired to light red. Interior surface with darker red slip that is mostly unsmoothed and carries lightly tooled bands, thinner to plain on exterior; outer face of flanged rim is fired to much darker reddish gray
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves <20% of rim, nearly full profil, and small part of base and floor. Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion and minor chipping around edges; worn breaks; faint white clouding (saline?).
