Description
Shoulder steeply tapers to high, narrow, cylindrical neck. Short, thickened rim. Two vertical strap handles attach on neck below rim and at top of shoulder. Spiral bands on extant surface.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric, surface treatment, and slip typical for ware: somewhat hard, medium fine, grayish and reddish brown fabric with frequent micaceous flakes, many visible on surface.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves uppermost neck, entire neck and rim, and two handles. Slight, sparse abrasion and chipping around edges other surface in good condition; wide patches of thin, cloudy, yellowish film: encrustation?
