Fabric, firing, and surface description
Reddish brown fabric fired brownish gray at surfaces. Hard, coarse fabric with hackly break and fine gritty texture. Uncommon to common, poorly sorted, small, subangular and subrounded, red (iron oxide?) and black inclusions; faintly micaceous. Wet smoothing.
Preservation comment
One larger sherd preserves entire handle and small part of rim and adjacent wall. Slight, extensive abrasion; worn breaks; thin, extensive white (calcareous) film and very rare specks of encrustation.
