Description
Flat, circular base with incuse signature within single groove: ΠΡΕ[ΙΜ]|ΟΥ.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Typical Early-Middle Roman Corinthian buff fabric (tinge of orange; gritty but fine).
Preservation comment
One fragment preserves ca. 25% of left base with adjacent wall. Slight, extensive abrasion and rare pitting; slightly worn breaks; faint white cloud of discoloration across all surfaces. A second sherd (left discus) stored with this base fragment as L 539a was found to join with Ke0041-L0012. It is uncertain whether the base sherd (L 539b) originates from the same lamp at the discus sherds.
