- Description
- Circular, concave discus with raised rim and thin framing band; relief of rosette with 24 narrow petals with raised rims. Slightly sloping shoulder has relief of dense herringbone.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Typical Middle Roman Athenian fabric (pale yellow; very fine, slightly gritty texture), firing, and surface treatment (unslipped). Small clay nodules in grooves.
- Preservation comment
- One small fragment preserves small part of discus and adjacent shoulder. Slight, extensive pitting and abrasion; worn breaks.
