Description
Circular, concave discus with raised rim and thin framing band; relief of rosette with 24 narrow petals with raised rims. Slightly sloping shoulder has relief of dense herringbone.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Typical Middle Roman Athenian fabric (pale yellow; very fine, slightly gritty texture), firing, and surface treatment (unslipped). Small clay nodules in grooves.
Preservation comment
One small fragment preserves small part of discus and adjacent shoulder. Slight, extensive pitting and abrasion; worn breaks.
