Description
Sherd stopper cut from base of a vessel, probably LRA4. Concave. Light brush marks on interior; light turning marks on exterior.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Granular fabric inconsistently fired brown to grey; frequent light small angular inclusions, few larger bits; other tiny bits. Interior surface is patchy brownish-red to grey; exterior is patchy brown to grey.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves intact stopper. Slight, sparse abrasion on all surfaces and breaks; extensive specks of encrustation.
