Molded cornice block. Upper projecting ovolo cyma of egg-and-dart design, below which a narrow frieze of bead-and-reel separated by a sharply angled fillet from lower fascia of Lesbian leaf design. Roughly worked upper and lower surfaces. Flat, smoothly worked back surface.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
White, somewhat fine to somewhat medium-grained, crystalline marble. Attic or island source?
Preservation comment
One large fragment preserves section of cornice broken on both ends. Somewhat frequent patches of encrustation; chips and small breaks across surface.
