Late Roman Large-Bowl Funnel
Description
Incurved rim with rounded lip. Body shaped like inverted bell. Distinct transition from body to spout; truncoconical spout string-cut at opening.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Standard Argolid LRA2 fabric, though relatively few inclusions and slip is very thickly and evenly applied.
Preservation comment
16 joining sherds preserve complete body and spout (largest fragments). Slight chipping around breaks; thin, extensive encrustation. Slight greenish hue after surface cleaning by conservator.
