Preservation comment
Fragments of heads and shanks, many broken at tip, represent six spikes (a-f); 94 more irregular shank fragments and four irregular head fragments (MNI 3); and 28 amorphous iron fragments, perhaps from same objects but perhaps including one or two narrow iron blades (W. 0.031-0.042 m). Severe, extensive corrosion and splitting. Roughly one quarter of objects display scorching.
