- Description
- Straight sloping faces bears simple Greek cross in low relief with bottom and ends of short arms chipped or broken away. Finely carved.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Creamy white to greyish white, medium fine-grained, slightly crystalline marble with grayish blue streaks. Proconnesian.
- Preservation comment
- One large, irregular fragment preserves one finished face of block. Slight chipping around edges and moderate chips on surface; moderate to thick film of encrustation across all surfaces.
