Typological identification
Small handled amphora stopper
Description
Knob handled stopper. Almost completely intact with slight rim chipping and small voids on underside. Large dimple on knob handle potentially with finger nail use from excessive finger pressure during formation. Evidence of squeezing during formation. Substantial spiral cracking and motif on knob base underside. Very slight oval shape. Made in Southern Argolid Fabric. Calciferous chunks present on surface.
