Description
Solid spike toe. Tapers down to flat bottom, offset from above. Spiral turning marks.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
SCA Fabric 2: red to reddish brown; slightly sandy; silvery micaceous.
Preservation comment
One large sherds preserves entire toe up to attachment with body. Slight, extensive abrasion and chipping around edges; worn breaks; thin, extensive encrustation on all surfaces.
