Description
Solid spike toe. Tapers down to flat bottom, offset from above. Spiral turning marks.
Fabric, firing, surface
SCA Fabric C: red to reddish brown with a tinge of orange; hard, fine; slightly granular break and rough texture; silvery and golden micaceous.
Preservation description
One large sherds preserves entire toe up to attachment with body. Slight, extensive abrasion and chipping around edges; worn breaks; thin, extensive encrustation on all surfaces.
