Late Roman Amphora 2 Small
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Overfired or changed by subsequent burning. Micaceous variant of Stanard LRA2 Argolid fabric. More frequent and smaller golden micaceous flakes than usual.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves 25% of rim and full profile of neck from shoulder to lip. Slight, sparse abrasion, scratching across surface, and chipping around rim; mostly clean breaks; scattered specks and patches of encrustation.
