Description
Large plate. High ring foot, slightly splayed and narrowing to bottom, with slight turning ridges on outer face.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Pale reddish orange fabric with occasional darker rounded inclusions, one flat dark stone observed in break. Thick somewhat smoothed slip on interior; thinner with brush marks on exterior.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 8% of foot and small part of lower wall to floor. Slight abrasion and large patch of chipping round worn edges; slight, extensive film of encrustation.
