Tall, cylindrical neck, tapering in middle, with horizontal ridge near top at attachment of handles. Plain, rounded rim, rolled outward, uneven in form. Vertical loop handles attach at upper neck and rim.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Reddish, gritty fabric has uncommon, small, subangular, reddish and grayish (sand?) inclusions; very rare, subrounded, medium, “lime“ chunks at surface; and very rare, medium to large, subangular, gray rocks. Fired slightly lighter at surface.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 37.5.% of rim and neck to uppermost shoulder and traces of upper handle attachment. Slight, extensive abrasion and chips around breaks; worn breaks; thick specks to patches of encrustation.
