Description
Jug. Rounded body. Low foot; slightly concave bottom. Tooled bands on lower wall. Notably well-made.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 10R 7/4. Slip: near 10YR 7/4. Very slightly granular fabric with occasional medium to small light angular “lime” inclusions. Surface finished with thin wash slightly more pale than fabric. Regional product.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 60% of base and small part of lower wall. Slight, sprase abrasion and pitting; somewhat worn edges; scattered specks of encrustation.
