Late Roman Amphora 2 Small
Description
Short, truncoconical neck. Flaring rim; rounded lip with groove on inner face. Loop handles, oval in section, attach at upper neck.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Standard LRA2 southern Argolid fabric, firing, and surface treatment.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 25% of rim, neck from rim to shoulder, and upper part of one handle. Slight, sparse abrasion and minor chipping; somewhat worn breaks; scattered specks of encrustation.
