Lid. Circular knob, pressed by finger around sides, projects from apex.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
5R 6/8 (light red). Slightly coarse fabric with occasional rounded, dark chunks, angular lime, and other varied smaller bits. Surface thinly washed, more purplish red than fabric.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves entire knob and small part (ca. 20%?) of lid but missing rim. Slight, extensive abrasion; worn breaks; thin film of encrustation covers all surfaces.
