Reddish brown core, fired to dark gray at surface (2-5mm); hard, coarse fabric; splintery to slightly hackly break; numerous small, irregular white and fewer dark gray inclusions, mostly well sorted. Regional cooking fabric.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves ca. 18% of base and small part of lowermost body. So far as can be discerned through encrustation, slight chipping around edges; worn breaks; thick, extensive encrustation on all surfaces.
