Cylindrical neck, convex walls. Plain, round rim rolled outward. Vertical strap handle attaches at upper neck.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric consistently fired red (10R 4/6). Fine, hard fabric has frequent golden mica and rare to uncommon, tiny to small, subangular(?), red, black, and gray particles; rare sparkling bits (quartz?). Cf. standard Ephesian LRA3 fabric.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves 19% of rim, upper neck, and upper one-third of handle. Moderate, extensive abrasion, erosion, and chipping; worn breaks; thin, extensive film of encrustation.
