Description
Pithos. Heavy everted rim, rounded across top and outer face, deep groove on underside.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Light red. Slightly granular, soft fabric has rare, circular, small, dark inclusions, sometimes clustering in abundance; rare other tiny bits. All surfaces are pale buff with slight greenish tinge.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 10-12% of rim and neck. Slight abrasion and large chips around edges; slight patches of encrustation.
